KapFou is a platform linking users, angels and pharmacies. Thanks to KapFou, a user can easily send a request for money to an angel who will, in turn, review and accept the request. The angel will then pay directly to the pharmacy the amount needed. Finally the user will be able to go and collect his medicines at the selected pharmacy.
A team of international entrepreneurs, we were presented with a challenge: how to solve the complexity of quality medicine access in Sub-Saharan Africa?
We undertook the challenge and KapFou was born.
A user uploads his prescription and sends it to a KapFou Angel through the app.
The Angel receives the request and pays for it through the app.
The pharmacy receives the payment and the user collects his medicines.
It’s free for users! However, KapFou takes a 6% commission on the transfers. This is at the lower end of commission for financial remittances. This cost is due to the cost of transaction and platform costs which we have worked hard to keep at the lowest possible level. For any more informations concerning reimbursements and financial conditions, please read our App Terms & Conditions.
KapFou services are currently limited to the country of Cameroon. But in the near future, they will cover other countries in Africa. Check our website regularly for more information.
Yes, there is however a small extra 1% fee for this. We highly recommend creating an Chimoney account to reduce the minimum transaction costs. You can find out more about Chimoney at www.chimoney.io
